Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - Teranetix

What is Teranetix?
Teranetix is the division of Intergraph Corporation responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment at our 50,000 customers' installations.

Teranetix's facilities and services were reserved exclusively for those Intergraph customers for over 30 years, but Intergraph has now expanded its operations to provide those same services on a non-exclusive basis.

What does Teranetix provide?
Teranetix provides computing support and hardware integration services for large and small OEMs, contract manufacturers, value-added resellers (VARs), third-party maintenance providers, and end-users.

We are a repair, logistics and technical services company with highly capable and experienced technicians and support staff. There are five primary strengths which form the basic building blocks of the Teranetix offering:

  • Product Repair  - Both at the board level and the final product level including BGA remove, repair, and replace using X-ray technology.
  • Engineering Change Order Processing - We do complete ECO implementation including upgrades of field units.
  • RMA Process Management - We manage the customer's returns process. We receive, screen, diagnose, repair, ship and track.
  • Hub Management - We offer complete Hub Operations to our customers. This service facilitates CFM (Continuous Flow Manufacturing) for our customers and VMI (Vendor Managed Inventories) for our customers' suppliers.
  • Screening Operations - We will receive lots of suspect material, screen that material quickly and return the good product to our customer. We will repair the defective units for return to productive use.

What is Teranetix charter?
Intergraph’s CEO Jim Taylor said, “For three decades, Intergraph’s repair depot and logistics organization served Intergraph’s customers exclusively, building a reputation for superior service and fast response. Now we are broadening their charter to provide that same service to the rest of the computer industry. Along with the new charter, we have given the organization a new name, Teranetix. As a division of Intergraph, Teranetix has been empowered to succeed in their pursuit of external business.”
