Proficiency Certification Course (IPC-A-610)
The
IPC-610C Proficiency Certification is a 24-hour course. The first
two and a half days are spent covering the acceptability requirements
in detail and ensuring the students understand the requirements and
the rationale behind the requirements. The last 4 hours are used for
an open and closed book test to verify that the students understand
what they have heard and learned. The minimum acceptable score is
a 70 average for the two tests. Each student will receive an IPC-A-610
Student Handbook that will be theirs to keep at the conclusion of
the course. Upon successful completion, the students will receive
an IPC-A-610 Worker Proficiency certificate. This certification is
valid for 24 months. Students will need to complete a recertification
course prior to their certificate expiration date. (3 days, $300)
